She brings that same experience to Alpine Anchor, leading go-to-market and building alongside Chase to power the next generation of business owners with Horizon.

- 2023
It started with a podcast
Chase and Mel were coworkers when they launched a podcast about AI and automation. No grand strategy — just two people exploring ideas over coffee. Every interview surfaced the same pattern: business owners wanted to grow without scaling headcount, and no platform was built for that.
- 2024
Chase founds Alpine Anchor
After years building integrations on tools like Zapier, Boomi, and Workato — every if/then, every edge case, every workflow taking weeks — Chase saw what AI agents could change. The decision-making that used to demand months of human configuration could happen in hours. He founded Alpine Anchor to build what no iPaaS had: an agent-first platform.

Mel joins as co-founder
Mel came on full-time to lead go-to-market, bringing 15 years of marketing leadership and the same firsthand view of where SMB tooling falls short. Together, they started building Horizon — designed from day one for agents connecting with other agents, not humans connecting systems.
- 2026
The first Horizon app ships
Horizon's first app went live with early customers in the trenches — the ones who tell us exactly what breaks in the real world. Their feedback is baked into every decision we make.
